English singer and songwriter John Waite has announced “The Golden Voice of Rock” tour performing his catalogue of hits from his 40-year career as a solo artist, with The Baby’s, and Bad English.
John’s catalog of hits features some of the most loved songs of the 80s and 90s, the No. 1 worldwide hit “Missing You,” The Babys’ “Isn’t It Time,” and Bad English’s “When I See You Smile” rank amongst some of his biggest international hits and are still heard on radio today. Take a trip to the underground as Don Soffer Aventura High School takes on Hadestown, Teen Version. Under the direction of Sandi Stock, high school students take on the Greek mythological story that has adapted for the teen audience. This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back.
Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.
