In the summer of 2015, local Charlotte drummer Mike Graci had an idea. He wanted to break away from the run-of-the-mill cover music he heard being played around town, so he worked to put together something special. He began diligently seeking out the musicians required to realize his vision. With all of the pieces in place, the group established themselves as Chicago Rewired – The Premier Chicago Tribute Band.
Chicago Rewired - The Premier Chicago Tribute Band is a tribute to "Chicago®" - one of the longest running and most successful pop/rock groups in history with record sales topping 100,000,000 including 21 top 10 singles, 5 consecutive number one albums, 11 number one singles, and 5 gold singles. The band comprises a unique blend of talented and seasoned musicians joining forces with the common goal of accurately replicating the timeless music of "Chicago®" - the soundtrack to great memories for so many people.
The members of Chicago Rewired - The Premier Chicago Tribute Band feel very fortunate to play the music that they love and to share their passion. It is their sincere desire that at every performance the audience have as much fun as they are having on stage. Based on the 1992 motion picture and inspired by a true story, Newsies features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors, Sister Act) and Jack Feldman and a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein (Kinky Boots).
Featuring the now classic songs “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” and “Santa Fe,” Newsies is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family.

Footloose is the story of a lively boy Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago. He and his mother move to the small town of Bomont after his father abandons them.
Upon arriving, Ren finds himself at odds with most of the town, including the Reverend Bomont. The Reverend has convinced the town to outlaw dancing, which Ren finds unbelievable.
With the help of the Ariel (the Reverend’s daughter) and Willard (a country hick who becomes his best friend), Ren convinces the Reverend to shake things up and let the teenagers dance to rock 'n' roll, and overturn the extreme ban. In the process it helps the town heal from a tragedy that affected them all.
